  • Use server-side technologies such as PHP as well as Node.js, or Python to develop web sites, applications, and APIs
  • Use client-side frameworks such as React, and Vue.js to develop responsive and performant web interfaces
  • Estimate effort related to requirements and construct plans for implementation
  • Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
  • Participate in thoughtful code review
  • Proactively perform cross-device testing and optimizations


  • 5+ years professional development experience (or equivalent quality-level of work)
  • Expert knowledge of PHP and strong knowledge in one of NodeJS or Python
  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript with experience in React and/or Vue.js (if also open to working with React)
  • Expert knowledge of Git and related branching strategies such as "Git Flow"
  • Functional knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and Nginx configuration
  • Functional knowledge of content management systems such as Drupal and/or Wordpress
  • Familiarity with working in a UNIX terminal environment
  • Tough skin and excellent time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients


  • Existing agency experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent academic endeavor
  • Experience developing and working with existing integration tests
  • Experience with native mobile development languages such as C#, Kotlin, or Java
  • Experience mentoring developers
