Our Product Developers are generally full-stack engineers who understand a variety of concepts ranging from HTML & CSS, to interactive JavaScript libraries, to complex frameworks and applications in a variety of programming languages. Many of our engineering team members also need to dive into the deep end working with native libraries and operating systems for various devices and hardware platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use server-side technologies such as PHP, ASP.NET, Node.js, and Java/JSP to develop websites, web applications, and content management systems
  • Use client-side frameworks such as React, Ember, Angular, and Vue.js to develop visually stunning, user-driven web applications, and enterprise-level content management systems
  • Integrate with, design, and develop APIs using various design patterns and techniques
  • Develop requirements and planning documentation
  • Collaborate with designers and analysts to develop amazing products
  • Set up, manage, and configure hosting environments
  • Set up and maintain GIT and SVN repositories for active and archived projects
  • Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
  • Maintain working knowledge of content management and eCommerce solutions such as Drupal, Drupal Commerce, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.
  • Proactively perform cross-device testing and optimizations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years professional development experience
  • Expert knowledge of PHP, C#, Node.js, and/or Java
  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Expert knowledge of client-side optimization techniques
  • Expert understanding of the latest and legacy browser capabilities, including mobile
  • Fluent understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
  • Functional knowledge of content management and eCommerce solutions such as WordPress, Drupal, Expression Engine, and Magento
  • Functional knowledge of version control (GIT)
  • Functional knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and Apache/Nginx
  • Familiarity with UNIX terminal commands
  • Tough skin and excellent time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients
