The Project Managers at PRPL oversee the entire product lifecycle for our projects. Each Project Manager is a stabilizing force for their Team, focusing on tasks, milestones, deadlines, and facilitating clear communication between all parties.   • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients
  • Set up and maintain all forms of documentation and work-flow including Basecamp, Confluence and JIRA
  • Take the lead on client communication
  • Establish project timelines and lead the team to fulfill on these timelines
  • Ensure JIRA tickets are created for every task in a project
  • Manage assets to ensure teams have resources, content, files and information needed to complete their responsibilities for a project
  • Move tickets through JIRA as a project progresses
  • Set up project meetings, kick-offs, reviews, and capture meeting notes in Confluence and Basecamp
  • Follow up on to-dos assigned to clients
  • Follow up with internal resources on task statuses 
  • Track project progress daily and monitor any incidences that may delay or hold up the delivery date
  • Communicate resource scheduling conflicts with Account Managers
  • Partner with Account Managers to plan retainer work for clients
  • Mentor Project Coordinators
  • Maintain a keen eye for the quality of work that is produced, and always uphold a standard of excellence for everything that the team creates
  • Clearly communicate status of projects to Leadership team
  • Set and manage client expectations. Create and adjust timelines for projects, in coordination with the Traffic Manager
  • Understand project risks, and mitigate risks early and often
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure billing is in alignment with the agreed up billing schedule set forth in the Statement of Work
  • Thinking ahead of internal team and clients to ensure that next steps and expectations are always met
  • Ability to think conceptually about problems, but also at a detailed level to support the client and internal project teams with roadblocks, strategy, content or marketing challenges that may arise over the course of a project 
  • Understand the inner-workings and importance of strategic client communication: how to handle challenging situations, responding with poise and professionalism, maintaining the integrity of the PRPL team to clients, and integrity of the client team to the internal PRPL team 
  • Encourage excitement about projects, exude confidence and control of situations, and boost morale for teams 
  • Show an interest in and enthusiasm for technical processes and development 


  • 2-5 Years Professional Project Management Experience
  • Prior experience working with Tier 1 Clients
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients
  • Comfortable enforcing protocols within the production process
  • Understanding of digital project management and design / development terminology
  • Familiarity with common project management methodologies, at minimum waterfall and agile
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment


  •  Experience with JIRA / Confluence or Basecamp
  • Previous agency experience
  • PMP, CSM or other Project Management Certifications
