As a Senior UX Strategist at PRPL, you turn ideas into fully-realized digital experiences in the marketplace. You will be at the forefront of our client’s transformations by identifying the most impactful problems for us to solve. In other words, you’re able to truly guide our clients through a product build, from business strategy to scoping third-party platform integrations, information architecture, UX strategy, SEO planning, and functional requirements documentation (FRDs).
You are a stellar account lead, able to concept additional opportunities for your clients and grow our accounts with them. You direct strategy and collaborate on projects, working with business stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional internal teams.
You are also a mentor to your junior colleagues, building continuing education initiatives and pushing yourself, and your team, to be better each and every day. And, as a senior member of our agency, you are able to work with business development to pitch new product ideas and scope engagements.
Generate project requirements and business goals by leading discovery sessions with stakeholders, reviewing the competitive landscape, and holding strategic brainstorming workshops with the project team.
Lead user research and documentation.
Conduct gap analyses and primary and secondary research on each client’s industry, their competitive set, possible revenue strategies, and opportunities for market distinction (or differentiation, if possible).
Build information architecture (IA) utilizing competitive audits, keyword planning, card sorting, and user navigation testing (e.g., site maps, screen trees, user flows, decision and content tables).
Develop content/data models, nomenclature and taxonomies.
Collaborate with designers to define functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through
page-level wireframes and flow diagrams.
Design and conduct usability tests to validate information architecture and interaction design.
Create measurement/tracking strategies for products, and set up analytics environments for clients using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Write strong, clear functional requirements documentation (FRDs) for developers that are easily testable.
Research new technologies, new services, and new tools to continually push your product knowledge, build efficiencies, and expand PRPL’s offerings.
Mentor colleagues, helping junior strategists achieve best-in-class product vision and client satisfaction through project oversight.
Effectively lead your accounts and develop strong relationships with clients, seeking out opportunities for account growth in partnership with other senior teammates, the business development office, and department directors to create and present growth plans.
Contribute to departmental culture by creating continuing education curricula, building documentation and templates, and on-boarding new colleagues.
Act as a “thought leader” for our organization, contributing to the agency blog and documenting your work and learnings for case studies
5+ years’ experience in UX and content strategy, business analysis, and data analytics.
Proven ability to lead accounts and build client relationships.
Existing portfolio of national or enterprise-level product builds
Demonstrable ability to mentor colleagues and proactively build departmental culture.
Expertise in a variety of qualitative research methods, including running usability studies and lean usability tests, conducting customer research interviews, requirements gathering activities, concept testing, and writing expert (heuristic) reviews.
Advanced written and oral communication skills. Ability to present projects and status reports to team leadership.
Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize research findings into common themes.
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
